The Directors of SFE came to Enterprising Accounts with a clear brief:-
• Assist in the raising of significant funds
• Negotiate the successful purchase of a high profile local business
With a funding offer in place following the presentation to the selected bank of a comprehensive business and financial plan, the negotiations followed for the company purchase. The purchase was a combination of Commercial Property, Plant and Equipment and Goodwill. Appropriate consideration was give to all areas of the purchase and staff transfers from the old company to the new. The Directors purchased the company and its seamless transfer and continued trading was assured.
Enterprising Accounts continuing instruction is to handle all bookkeeping and management accounts. To that end IT equipment, systems and procedures are in place to manage the weekly sales, purchase and payroll cycles with the minimum of effort on their behalf.
In addition there are quarterly board meetings which map and monitor the company’s performance. Key Performance Targets have been identified and the half year results have shown the Company is on track to hit the ambitious targets set for year one.
Recently, directors have been provided with comprehensive Staff Contracts of Employment and a Company Handbook together with continuing advice on various HR topics.
The joint owners have been gracious enough to say that without Enterprising Accounts assistance this exciting journey may never have been made.
